Chris has been the owner of Metroplex Realty since 2010. As an owner, Chris is responsible for business development, recruiting, training, and managing an office that employs 8 people. In addition to the day to day management, Chris works with national companies as well as local institutions. In 2010, Chris was hired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to help evaluate and market foreclosed properties in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. This opportunity was unique, in that there was a specific need for a Real Estate professional who had experience and knowledge of the Albuquerque marketplace, along with the ability to get things done! Since working with these companies, Metroplex Realty has sold over 500 properties in the last 5 years, and has helped the Albuquerque market recover from a challenging time in the Real Estate market. He has built a company of dedicated, professional agents. He has a full time staff that works behind the scenes to help you navigate and ensure that your transaction has a positive outcome. At Metroplex, we know that there is more to Real Estate than just saying you are a Realtor. Buying or selling a home is a life changing experience for people, and we are there to help them every step of the way. Chris has a philosophy that with team work anything can be accomplished. In 2004, Chris was the Rookie of the Year for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Board of Realtors, and also for Keller Williams. These awards were a direct reflection of his passion for the Real Estate industry. In 2010, Chris opened up his own company that is still alive today – Metroplex Realty. Since opening Metroplex Realty, Chris has worked with a multitude of buyers – from selling multi-million dollar homes to first time homebuyers. Chris lives out his dedication and professionalism, because he believes “we are changing people’s personal lives for the better.” Chris thrives in the team environment. While playing football at West Texas State, he developed team building skills and learned the value of “We are all in this together.” After graduating from West Texas State, he went into pharmaceutical/medical sales for 18 years. This taught Chris to develop management and leadership skills, resulting in several major awards in his medical sales career. Chris continues to thrive in the team environment, and continues hiring and training agents in the ever-changing industry of Real Estate. Chris’s guiding principle is to “do things right.” He has had a vast experience of dealing with different businesses. “We want our customers to enjoy their transaction and value the process that we, as agents, train for.” Proactive and driven in everything he does, Chris is a successful team player and will do anything he can for any client who becomes part of his team. She attended the University of New Mexico on a volleyball scholarship and graduated with a degree in finance. While the Finance industry challenged her there was an underlying hidden potential and passion to help people with one of the most impactful decisions of their lives. The next step was to learn all of the components of the industry and capitalize on the strengths and weaknesses while building the company. Monica has a great awareness of market trends, investment potential, innovative marketing solutions, and accurate values of each property. Within the first year of business, she received a Rookie of the Year award within each Keller Williams office locations. Monica has lived in Albuquerque for over 14 years and has become extremely familiar with each of Albuquerque’s surrounding areas. Fortunately, passion for people and a high work ethic are the true creditors of Monica’s success. She does not allow a good opportunity to pass her by and also strives to provide the most consistent customer service possible. Monica is a competitive and accomplished golfer when she is not working with clients. Along with golfing, some of Monica’s favorite hobbies include Fly fishing, Skiing, and Backpacking. She has acquired a well-educated and knowledgeable team with her Executive Manager being a native New Mexican who brings 20+ years of corporate management, marketing, and sales experience.
